Sara M. Baldwin, MA MHP LMHC

Director

Sara is certified in EMDR. She is also a trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher, so you can expect a lot of mindfulness and compassion in your sessions with her. She graduated from Antioch University in Seattle with a MA in Applied Psychology in 2009 and loves what she does. She also enjoys providing supervision to new therapists who are working toward licensure or who want ongoing consultation. She loves Arrested Development, office plants, and hanging out with her cats.

David Wakukawa, LMHC

Therapist

David is trained in EMDR and is working towards full certification. He has experienced the therapeutic potential of EMDR personally and by using it with dozens of clients. David approaches therapy from a multipronged approach, recognizing the importance of working through our experiences and personal histories while also keeping focus on making adaptive cognitive and behavioral changes in the present. 


Prior to joining Seattle EMDR Associates, David counseled teens and adults from diverse backgrounds at local community mental health agencies. David has particular experience in trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as personality disorders, self-harm, suicidality, and compulsive behaviors.


David has also obtained specialized training in: Lifespan Integration, which utilizes memory cues to treat a wide variety of issues and traumas; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which targets high emotionality, self-harm, and borderline personality traits with cognitive-behavioral principles; and Hypnotherapy, which incorporates relaxation and suggestion techniques to facilitate change.


Before becoming a therapist, David was a litigation attorney in San Francisco. He obtained his clinical education at Northwest University, graduating with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. 

David is a mostly able-bodied, fourth-generation Japanese-American, cis-male, queer, non-indigenous, US born person. He is non-sectarian but has backgrounds in Protestant Christianity and Episcopalianism.

Corin Garvey, LMHCA

Corin is fully trained in EMDR and is working toward certification. They have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling specializing in trauma from Antioch University, New England.

They have several years of experience working with those who are neurodivergent as well as those who have experienced interpersonal crimes, including sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse, as well as childhood abuse and neglect.

As a member of the transgender community, Corin is passionate about helping those in marginalized communities find strength and healing. They provide a collaborative, holistic, person-centered approach in the therapy room by incorporating the hobbies, skills, and passions of their clients into the process.

Corin works primarily with older teens (16+) and adults and specializes in the transgender and non-binary community and with those who are neurodivergent such as autism or ADHD.

Outside the therapy office, Corin spends their time gardening, writing, playing with their cat and dogs, hiking, playing board games, and overall being nerdy.

Jocelyn Pillarelli, LMHC

Therapist

Jocelyn holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She is fully trained in EMDR and working towards certification. Jocelyn has extensive experience in trauma focused practice and interactive communication methods as well as a unique ability to blend compassion and challenge to create a safe and impactful therapy environment.

With nearly 20 years of clinical experience, Jocelyn has access to numerous methods of treatment that allow her to assess each client’s learning and communications styles to create an entirely individualized plan of care. Additionally, she is trained in PCIT (Parent Child Interactive Therapy) which is helpful in supporting parents to deepen positive connections with their children. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she is adept at working with a focus on inclusion and honoring diversity.

Areas of special focus include trauma recovery, grief and loss, survivors of domestic violence, adult ADHD, anxiety disorders, intimate partner relationship difficulties and LGBTQ+ related trauma. Her Therapeutic methods include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), cognitive behavioral techniques, Family Systems/Integrative parts work and narrative processing. By utilizing her therapeutic skills and creating a nurturing space, she guides her clients on a journey to heal from their past experiences and regain their confidence and sense of self.

Cindy Gilbert, LICSW

Therapist

Cindy is trained in EMDR and working towards certification. Cindy’s career has spanned thirty years. In that time she has worked with people from all walks of life; from unhoused youth to adults dealing with persistent mental illness. The experience and wisdom she has gained help form the foundation of her approach to therapy. The rest of her approach is rooted in kindness, compassion, genuineness and mindfulness. Cindy believes that every person deserves the chance to thrive, and she wants to help them do that.

Cindy has extensive experience with depression and anxiety, as well as LGBTQIA+ issues and gender non-binary/non-conforming folks. She is sex/BDSM and sex worker positive. Cindy works to build a strong relationship with each of her clients based on respect, trust and safety. This relationship is the foundation of successful work in therapy.

Emily Kalteich, LSWAIC, MSW

Therapist

Emily is fully trained in EMDR and working towards certification. She earned a Master of Social Work degree with a mental health emphasis at the University of Washington. She centers her work in social justice and liberation while also being guided by mindfulness, creative expressions, DBT, ACT, IFS and somatic work. She has worked in bilingual mental health and social services for over eight years and offers therapy in Spanish as well for bilingual Spanish or primarily Spanish-speaking individuals.

Emily offers specialized training and experience with eating disorders, food and body issues, perinatal issues (prenatal and postpartum mood disorders, infertility, loss), domestic violence and sexual assault. She affirms and integrates Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating and body liberation frameworks in her approach to food and body work. She is also experienced and passionate about supporting parenting challenges, grief and loss, living with disabilities, navigating and integrating faith or spirituality, and healing from religious trauma.


Emily lives in Tacoma with her spouse and is a parent of two younger children, a musician, a budding cold plunger and swimmer and loves exploring the wildness of the Northwest. She dreams of living in a van down by the river.

Emily is a white, cisgender US born queer woman.

Jasmine Wilson, LMHCA, MT-BC
Therapist

Jasmine Wilson is fully trained in EMDR and is working towards certification. She completed her Masters of Arts in Counseling at Palo Alto University. Jasmine is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, and began her professional career by providing music therapy in hospice and bereavement services.

She continues work with people navigating grief-related issues such as chronic or terminal illness, bereavement, and family estrangement. She is also passionate about helping survivors of trauma, particularly those with past adverse childhood experiences, complicated family-related traumas, and domestic violence survivors. She enjoys working with many different backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ communities. Jasmine approaches therapy by collaborating with her clients.

She enjoys being curious and creative in the therapeutic process. She integrates a variety of methods into her EMDR work, including music therapy, Internal Family Systems theory, attachment theory, CBT, and narrative therapy. When Jasmine isn’t at work, she enjoys being outside, spending time with her dog, playing strategy card games, photography, crafting, and finding new recipes to cook.

Jed Lin, LICSW

Therapist

Jed is fully trained in EMDR and is working toward certification, continuing to participate in ongoing education to enhance his EMDR skills. He received his Masters of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Washington in clinical social work in 2006.

His approach to therapy is collaborative, honoring the experience of the individual as well as your family, cultural and social context. He draws from his training in EMDR, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychodynamic theory and trauma-informed interventions. His work is grounded in a social justice framework and anti-oppression values. Jed strives to work with you in a compassionate, flexible and pragmatic way. His hope for you is to be able to envision a responsive, proactive approach to life in which you can roll with the ups and downs of life, and experience genuine happiness and purpose.

He works with adult individuals, and has a particular interest in working with clients on trauma, as well as folks in BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Outside of work, Jed enjoys walking/hiking in nature, meditation, reading and watching sci-fi TV shows. He also likes spending time with his human and animal friends and family.

Rose Sabini, LMHC

Therapist

Rose is Certified in EMDR and participates regularly in ongoing training. She uses a person-centered approach and will work with you to customize a treatment plan that best fits your goals, life experience, and present situation. Rose is passionate about helping you make connections you have not before and providing a space where you can explore your individual version of success. 

Rose has lived in various states and driven across the country from coast to coast a few times. She graduated from Boston College with a Master’s in Social Work before returning to the Pacific Northwest and is now happy to call Seattle home. 

She enjoys DIY projects, traveling, reading, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.

Joanne Gliane, LMHCA

Joanne earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University, providing her with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to assist you in your journey towards well-being. With diverse training that includes ongoing education in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Person-Centered approach, she is equipped to tailor these modalities to meet your unique needs, creating a personalized path to healing.

Kindness and compassion are the cornerstones of Joanne's practice. She is here to support and guide you with empathy and understanding. Joanne is driven by a genuine love for helping her clients break free from the barriers that may be holding them back. There's no greater reward than witnessing the transformations and growth that occur through therapy. She is here to walk this path alongside you, providing the guidance and support you need to reach your full potential.

Kali Shilvock, LMFTA

Therapist

Kali is fully trained in EMDR and is working toward certification. She has a Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy and Sex Therapy Certificate from Antioch University Seattle, and is also a RYT-500 Hour Registered Yoga Instructor. Kali works with adult individuals and couples/polycules on issues and goals related to navigating inter- and intrapersonal distress, relationship communication and skill-building, sex and sexuality, trauma, and deconstructing limiting beliefs and internalized narratives. Central to her work is the intention to foster an environment that is non-judgmental, affirming, and safe for reflection, discussion, and expression.

Kali loves helping her clients discover what inhibits and promotes deeper connections to others and to themselves. She is passionate about supporting clients in their work to deconstruct internalized cognitive/emotional baggage and to provide them with a safe container for creating more affirming, empowering lenses through which they can experience their inner worlds and relationships with others. When working with Kali, you can expect a dynamic, co- constructed therapy experience in which we collaboratively work toward your goals.

Outside of her therapy work, Kali loves all things movement-related; she teaches several different types of group fitness classes and spends as much time as she can hiking and trail-running! She is also a “nester” and loves all things cozy (warm beverages, books, quality time with loved ones, and cat cuddles with her two cats, Bijou and Noodle). Other interests include music, cooking, and making salves/herbal infusions/magic potions.

Christina Grieve

Intern Therapist

Christina is currently completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Seattle University. She is training in EMDR and approaches her work through blending relational-cultural perspectives with practical skills to support clients in healing.

Chris brings authenticity and genuine curiosity to her work along with a belief that all people are deserving and capable of living a full life, even within oppressive environments and systems. She has a background in eating disorder work and enjoys supporting clients in healing their mind-body connection. She also feels passionately about supporting folks who feel shame around their trauma or unworthy of healing, including folks who have experienced “little t” trauma or have caused harm to loved ones as a result of their trauma.

Chris is equal parts outdoorsy and indoorsy – in her spare time, if she isn’t exploring national parks or visiting home in Canada, she is probably sitting on the couch with blankets, coffee, and cats.

Chris is a White, non-indigenous, middle class, Canadian-born with US permanent residency, able-bodied, queer, cisgender woman.

Chris is unable to bill insurance and offers counseling on a sliding scale.

Heather Vargas-Lyon

Intern Therapist

Heather is currently training in EMDR and working towards certification. She earned a bachelor’s in nursing at Seattle University in 2003. Currently, Heather is completing a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. Her work is grounded in a person-centered approach while also drawing on components from narrative and dialectical behavioral therapy.

Heather believes each person is the expert on their experiences and that by working together therapy can provide a safe space to process and heal past traumas as well as nurture relationships and achieve personal goals.

She has experience supporting individuals with a variety of mental health issues including sexual assault survivors, PTSD and psychosis.

In her free time, Heather enjoys taking her dogs Frida and Elliott for walks, knitting and cycling.

Heather is a middle aged, white, middle class, cis-femme, queer, spiritual U.S. born person.

Xan Borseth

Intern Therapist

Xan is training in EMDR currently and working toward certification. She is presently pursuing her master's degree in clinical social work at the University of Washington. 

Coming from a background in community mental health, Xan is passionate about working with clients collaboratively, centering a relationship-based, trauma-responsive approach. She is particularly excited to support clients as they cultivate the relationships, healing, transformation and acceptance they desire for themselves. Her practice is somatic and draws from mindfulness, relational-cultural, strengths-based, and dialectical behavioral therapy approaches to address attachment injuries, trauma, substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression among other challenges people face in our complex world. Xan strives to live her anti-oppression values in this work. 

In her free time, Xan enjoys spending time outside: soggy jogs around Greenlake, backpacking trips around Tahoma (Mt. Rainier), biking along the Burke-Gilman, and sipping tea on her porch and watching the neighbor crows. When she's inside, Xan can be found attempting to cook uncommon vegetables, listening to political podcasts, playing card games, and watching Pride and Prejudice (BBC's version, of course).

Brady Mathieson

Intern Therapist

Brady (he/him) is currently training in EMDR and working toward certification. He earned a bachelor’s in computer science at the University of Michigan in 2018. After a mid-pandemic career switch, he is now completing his master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) at Antioch University Seattle. In addition to his work with Seattle EMDR Associates, he works as a supervisor at Crisis Connections as well as a group facilitator for Program for Early Parenthood Support (PEPS).

Brady operates within a person-centered approach while bringing in principles of narrative and humanistic therapy. In addition, he utilizes tools from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). He believes that working toward our individual values helps us understand ourselves and our needs deeper. With this, he believes that every therapeutic relationship and experience is unique. Together, we can
create a space to process and heal past traumas that may be holding you back from enjoying life to the fullest.

Brady works passionately alongside queer and neurodivergent communities. He has experience helping clients in crisis as well as those living with ADHD, OCD, PTSD, complex trauma, and difficult life transitions. In his free time, Brady enjoys live music, yoga, baking, playing instruments, and petting any cat that crosses his path.

Tina Mansfield, MA LMHC

Senior Therapist

Tina is fully trained in EMDR and is currently working towards certification. She loves to use Somatic and Mindfulness-based practices in order to assist you in becoming skilled at identifying what your Mind-Body needs for full resolution of anxiety, depression, addictions, and changes in life abilities. She graduated from Saint Martins University in 2015 with an MA in Counseling. Tina also has a 4-year Healership Certification in Energy Healing which allows her to assist you in calming, grounding, breathing, and guided visualizations useful for improving your emotional regulation challenges. She is fascinated with the inner workings of the brain and loves to share little nuggets of knowledge when they are helpful. She loves live music concerts (Alternative rock and symphony) and live theatre, shows like The Venture Brothers, Better Call Saul, and is (surprise!) also an enthusiastic Seahawks fan.

Rosemary Duffy-Greslo, MS LMFT

Clinical Director

Rosemary is fully trained and currently certified in EMDR. Her approach to working with clients is collaborative in nature, working with you to customize treatment plans to fit your unique experiences, needs, and situation. She graduated in 2006 from Purdue University in Hammond, IN with an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy. Rosemary absolutely loves being a therapist and is a passionate believer in the potential of psychotherapy to increase your sense of confidence, well-being, and empowerment, improve and strengthen your relationships with significant people, find peace with the past, and make lasting changes towards a more fulfilling life.


Rosemary enjoys running, sailing, hiking, camping, and adventuring in general. She also loves to read and wander through bookstores. She is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. And, we like her a lot, even though she's a Bears fan.

Rosemary identifies as older, cis-gendered, lesbian, Polish American, temporarily abled-bodied, secular Buddhist, and middle class.

Jill Paulson

Intake Coordinator

Jill enjoys connecting with clients and wants to ensure that every individual feels supported and welcomed during the intake process. Originally from the East Coast, with many stops along the way, Jill is thrilled to be settled in the PNW. She loves volunteering, thrifting, spending time with family, and going to bed before 9pm.

Care Coordinator

Heidi has been doing medical billing for over 16 years. She loves making sure clients receive the most out of their insurance benefits. When she's not answering your emails and following up on insurance claims, she is trying to keep up with her two adorable small children. In the event of some rare free time to herself, she enjoys sewing, watercolor and playing the occasional round of golf with her husband.
