We are now hiring for a full time (20-30 hours a week) EMDR therapist. We are especially excited about folks who would like to work out of our new Federal Way office, either full time or hybrid/partially remote.

Seattle EMDR Associates (SEA) is a group therapy practice started with the intention to provide clients with skillful and compassionate care and therapists with a supportive and empowering workplace.

We want to provide the opportunity for you to come in and do the therapy you are passionate about doing, without the crushing caseloads of community mental health, or the overwhelming responsibilities of running your own private practice.

We are looking for a fully or provisionally licensed mental health professional (LMHC/A, LMFT/A, LCISW, etc) who has been trained through an EMDRIA approved training and uses EMDR as a primary treatment modality. The right addition to our team will be fun, conscientious, social justice minded, and interested in ongoing professional development and collaboration.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in counseling or related field

• Active, unrestricted license in the State of Washington (A’s ok!)

• Available to build up to at least 20 hours of clinical work per week

• Training in EMDR through an EMDRIA approved training

• Utilization of EMDR as a primary modality

Other Qualification Preferences:

• At least 2 years in a Community Mental Health Setting

• Certification through EMDRIA

Hours:

We have some flexibility, understanding that you may be transitioning out of a full time or part time job. When your caseload is full you will be available to hold at least 20-25 client sessions per week, as well as between 2-5 hours of (paid) administrative time for notes, consults, etc.

We Provide:

• Excellent pay: Fully licensed clinicians are paid 65$/clinical hour, Associates are at 55$. Paid admin time is $20 an hour and includes meetings and built in admin time each week. Bonus admin hours paid when you hit your weekly goals.

• The ability to manage your own schedule and work collaboratively with other therapists

• Weekly staff meetings that include case consultation

• Ongoing clinical consultation with an EMDR consultant (counts toward EMDRIA Certification)

• Supervision toward licensure if an associate level clinician

• Great location, adjacent to Fremont and right on the Ship Canal Trail in Seattle, or in a nice professional building in Federal Way

• Flexibility around working from home - can be 100% remote
